HouseLift Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
By booking our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by HouseLift, including decluttering, home staging, and interior styling.
2. Services
HouseLift offers a range of services including but not limited to:
Decluttering services
Home staging
Interior styling and design advice
Details of each service, including scope, pricing, and duration, are provided at the time of booking.
3. Booking and Payment
Some bookings require a deposit, payable at the time of booking. The balance is due upon completion of the service.
Payment can be made via bank transfer.
HouseLift reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee of 50%
Refunds will be issued at HouseLift’s discretion and will typically be provided for services not rendered due to cancellation by HouseLift.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the scope of work required.
Clients must ensure that access to the property is available at the agreed-upon time.
6. Liability
HouseLift is not liable for any damage to personal property unless caused by negligence on the part of HouseLift staff.
HouseLift carries public liability insurance; details are available upon request.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
HouseLift respects your privacy. All personal information collected during the course of providing services will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of service provision.
We do not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
8. Waste Removal
HouseLift does not have a waste licence. Therefore, we do not remove waste items. We will take away all other items for donation or sale, depending on client preferences.
9. Complaints
Any complaints or disputes should be reported to HouseLift within 14 days of the service date.
HouseLift will aim to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
10. Changes to Terms
HouseLift reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content provided by HouseLift, including but not limited to designs, mood boards, layout recommendations, written materials, and any other creative work, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. These materials are provided for the sole use of the client in connection with the services provided by HouseLift.
Clients are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any of HouseLift’s copyrighted materials without prior written consent.
HouseLift retains all rights to the materials produced and reserves the right to use any content created for clients, including before and after photos, in marketing materials, provided that any use of such content respects the client’s privacy and confidentiality.
Clients agree not to copy, distribute, or share HouseLift's materials with third parties without explicit permission from HouseLift.
